Chandigarh Kare Aishiqui Manages to Save 17000Kg Of Waste film Pragya Kapoor, the film’s co-producer, came up with a novel idea to build up a separate crew to handle the waste products on set with adequate planning and methodology

Vaani Kapoor and Ayushmann Khuranna are preparing for their forthcoming film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The entire film is being shot in Chandigarh, Punjab. Abhishek Kapoor directed the film, which was co-produced by Pragya Kapoor and Bhushan Kumar of T-series.

They were filming the movie at the time. Pragya Kapoor, the film’s co-producer, came up with a novel idea to build up a separate crew to handle the waste products on set with adequate planning and methodology. Pragya Kapoor engaged a Skrap firm to handle any rubbish generated during the event and donate any extra materials. Because it is such a large film, the amount of waste generated would be enormous. As a result of engaging the Skrap team, they were able to ensure that their set had no waste materials.

The film’s director, Abhishek Kapoor, stated that they had employed a small staff to check into all of the waste items that were generated and separated. Whether it was dry or wet rubbish, plastic or non-plastic, all items were recycled, and their ultimate goal was to not harm the environment.

Ayushmann Khuranna was equally taken aback by the concept and was praising all of the crew’s efforts, as it was the first time he had seen anything like it on the set of the film. He thinks the zero-waste film is a fantastic idea and is honored to be a part of it.

Vanni was likewise delighted by the concept and expressed her delight at being a part of a zero-waste film. Everything was recycled, from their shampoo bottles to the handpicked hampers in their hotel room.
They also provided all of the leftover food to those in need, and instead of using 1000 plastic bottles every day, they replaced them with water dispensers.
