Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid Is Geared Up For His Bollywood Debut With ‘Maharaja’

Bollywood superstars launching their sons and daughters is not an uncommon thing today. Many actors in fact those who rule the box-office are also star kids themselves so it comes as no surprise that Bollywood’s greatest actor, Aamir Khan‘s son too is foraying into the film industry. Junaid Khan’s first film titled ‘Maharaja’ has gone on the floors this week.

Junaid Khan will be playing the role of a journalist who exposes the titular character Maharaja in the film. This movie is based on a historical case, popularly called the Maharaj Libel case. This case took place in the 1860s, hence, the film sets and characters are also going to have a period look! As for the release of the film and the other characters, not much has been revealed yet. There could be a possibility of a big actor being cast as the Maharaja, but as for the journalist who will be exposing him, Junaid Khan has taken that role.

It is yet to be seen if Junaid has the ‘it’ factor that can capture the audiences’ hearts with his performance like his father! Take a look at his sister Ira Khan‘s post about his first day of the shoot!
