Aamir Khan‘s son Junaid Khan was all set to follow in his father’s footsteps and get into acting. Just as the aspiring actor was gearing up for the shoot of his debut film, the ongoing pandemic and the lockdown that came with it, put a halt on everything. Now with the Maharashtra government slowly easing down on restrictions with their 5-level unlock plans for the state, Junaid Khan’s ‘Maharaja’ might resume shooting.
The film fraternity has been eagerly waiting for the lockdown restrictions to ease out in Maharashtra, especially Mumbai so that they can finally resume shooting. In their latest statement, the Maharashtra government announced a step by step unlock plan, classifying various cities into level 1, level 2 and more. Mumbai that falls under level 3 will see a bunch of restrictions being eased including the resumption of film shooting.
Production house YRF had slated many films to be released in the current year, although many of the projects under the banner are currently on hold. This includes films like Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ and others. But the film that YRF decided to start with is Junaid Khan’s debut film ‘Maharaja’.
