The web series is presented by Disney + Hotstar and they have already revealed 1962 – The war in the hills’ first look. Actor Abhay Deol also took to his social media handle to share the first look of his upcoming web series. Soon after the post went up, it garnered a whopping number of approximately 55,000 views. Abhay is one of the finest actors of Bollywood and fans cannot wait to see his performance in the web series. His look in the series’ trailer has been really appreciated by the audience. The project is all set to go on the floors on February 26 and it will reportedly be filled with a lot of action sequences. Even though the makers of 1962 – The war in the hills are yet to reveal further details about this project, reports claim that Abhay Deol will be seen doing many action scenes in the series.

As per the reports, 1962 – The war in the hills has been inspired by real-life events that took place in the year 1962. Reports suggest that this series is a tribute to those fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for India. It has been directed by filmmaker and actor Mahesh Manjrekar.
