Abhishek Bachchan will next be seen playing the lead character on-screen in the directorial debut of Diya Ghosh, Bob Biswas. The story of the movie is written by Sujoy Ghosh and the movie will be produced by Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Verma. The plot of the film revolves around the character of Bob Biswas which was originally featured in Vidya Balan’s mystery hit Kahaani. The movie also has Chitrangada Singh as the lead character.

Recently, on November 24, 2020, Abhishek Bachchan took to his official Instagram handle in order to share with his fans a “completely dressed up” picture of himself as he flies to Kolkata for the shooting of Bob Biswas. In his caption, the actor mentioned that he is going “back to being Bob” and urges fans to always have their masks on. In the picture, Abhishek Bachchan can be seen all dressed in a black coloured hoodie and black colour sunglasses while following safety precautions against the on-going pandemic by wearing a face shield and a black colour mask.
