According to an aggregated review on Rotten Tomatoes, Marvel Studios’ Eternals is currently the worst-reviewed picture in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This Chloe Zhao-directed film has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 62 percent after 92 reviews. For comparison, Thor: The Dark World and Black Widow, both considered among the franchise’s worst flicks, received 66 percent and 79 percent, respectively. Black Panther and Avengers: Endgame, on the other hand, received 96 percent and 95 percent evaluations, respectively.

Audience will decide

Of course, after the picture is out in theatres and additional critics have seen it, the score could swing dramatically in either direction. But one thing is certain: unlike any other MCU picture, the film has divided reviews. Songs My Brothers Taught Me, The Rider, and the Oscar-winning film Nomad Land are among Chloe’s humane stories set against sweeping vistas. She said she wanted to go big scale-wise while maintaining the intimate tone of the story.
