Action Hero Motion Poster: Ayushmann Khurrana’s Next Film Is Sure To Bend The Rules

T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions have enlisted the versatile Ayushmann Khuranna for their next project, dubbed ‘Action Hero,’ to be helmed by Anirudh Iyer. This will be the talented actor’s debut appearance in an action film. The film, which follows one artist’s journey both in front of and behind the camera, is expected to captivate audiences with its sleek action and quirky sarcastic sense of humour.

When the film was announced, producer Bhushan Kumar has stated that Ayushmann absolutely matches the bill of the titular Action Hero in this film. This is also Ayushmann’s fourth collaboration with the film production label, making it even more meaningful for everyone involved. Audiences can’t wait to watch him play the character on the big screen.

Aanand L Rai, the film’s producer, stated that while this is the first time that he was exploring this genre, it is the third time he will be partnering with Ayushmann on a film. The two have given some of the biggest hits of the last decade. It’s always a pleasure to work with Ayushmann as he is a cool person, and he is really thrilled for the project to go into production as soon as the pre-production works are done.

Ayushmann stated of Action Hero that she is happy to be collaborating with Aanand sir for the third time, and he hopes that his track record of entertaining audiences around the world with innovative screenplays continues with Action Hero. Now that he too is a part of the project. He is also looking forward to working with Bhushan Kumar again. They have been part of some magical projects before. Yellow and the T-Series are like second homes to Ayushmann. He absolutely fell in love with the script of Action Hero as soon as he read it. He feels it is wacky, new, and disruptive, with all the trappings of film that he has grown to be renowned for.

The film will be shot in both India and the United Kingdom, crossing geographical boundaries. Action Hero is a T-Series & Colour Yellow Production directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Aanand L Rai. Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar are also producing the film.
