Lalit Behl was a renowned filmmaker who had many popular films and television shows, he passed away at the age of 71.

Veteran actor and filmmaker, Lalit Behl, passed away due to Covid-19 complications on Friday afternoon. The news of his demise was confirmed by his son who mentioned that he had a history of heart ailments. Lalit Behl was a renowned filmmaker who had made many popular films and television shows. He had also worked extensively with Delhi’s National School of Drama and had appeared in many films, shows as well as web series. Taking to social media, his Mukti Bhawan co-star Adil Hussain wrote, “Extremely saddened by the demise of one of my dearest and most respected Co-actors, Lalit Behl jee”. According to a leading daily, he was diagnosed with novel coronavirus last week and was admitted for the same. He passed away at the age of 71.

The news of his passing comes a day after the demise of two other members of the industry – Amit Mistry and Shravan Rathod. While Gujarati actor Amit Mistry passed away following a cardiac arrest, Rathod died due to Covid-19 complications.
