Actor-Composer James Kumar Shares ‘How The Arivaan Title Song Was Born’ – Watch Video

Arivaan – The Revelation, is a Singaporean Tamil suspense thriller series which stars Jabu Deen Faruk and James Kumar in the lead roles. It revolves around Hari (Jabu), a former police officer turned barber, who teams up with his estranged godbrother, Deva (James) in order to nab a serial killer. The series is so complex and intriguing that it will surely keep you glued at the edge of your seat throughout. Speaking of the actors, we see some really fantastic performances by Jabu and James. Also, Gayathri Segaran, Udaya Soundari and R Venga, who are seen in essential roles, too have done a great job.

Along with the series, what we love is the background score in Arivaan, which perfectly suits the thriller genre. But did you know that the title track was composed by James Kumar (who plays Deva), while the lyrics have been penned by Udaya (who plays Akhila)? Not just that, Udaya aka Akhila also has sung the song along with James. The title number- Arivaen is an amazing track which immediately grabs the attention.

Taking us through the making of this song, James tells us how he was inspired to write the music lines. He says that when the producer Raja narrated him the story, he immediately had this tune in his mind, that he had to bring to life through this series. He was eager to compose it and make Raja hear it. As Raja approved his songlines, James roped in Udaya to sing along with him.
