Actor Karan Mehra Accused Of “Physical Abuse” By Wife Nisha Rawal, Granted Bail After Arrest!

All is not well between actor Karan Mehra and his wife Nisha Rawal. Last month, there were reports claiming that the couple’s marriage has hit a rough patch. However, back then, the actor had refuted all these reports stating them as ‘rumours’. Recently, Karan was arrested by Goregoan Police following a dispute with his wife Nisha. On Monday night, a complaint was filed against him, after which he was taken into police custody. And now, the actor has been granted bail.

According to the police, Mehra’s wife Nisha had approached them on Monday night where she registered an FIR under Section 336 and 337 of the IPC.  Reportedly, amid the brawl, Karan had manhandled Nisha, pushing her against a wall. And thus, the police had detained the actor for further questioning and had arrested him later on. The police seem to believe that it might be a case of “physical abuse” and are further investigating the same.

On June 01, Karan was produced before a magistrate court and was later granted bail. Earlier, last month, when the reports of Karan and Nisha’s troubled marriage were doing rounds, the actor had dismissed all the claims. In an interview, he had shared how his wife was looking after him after he got infected with the Covid-19 virus.

Also, Karan had disapproved of all the claims and called them to be nothing but “rumours”. However, the current happenings essay a different story altogether. For those unaware, the duo first met on the sets of the 2008 film Hastey Hastey wherein Nisha was playing the female lead while Karan was working as a designer for the project.

After dating for several years, Karan and Nisha finally tied the knot in 2012. The couple also has a four-year-old son Kavish. On the professional line, Karan is popular among the masses for his role in the hit TV saga Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. And his wife, Nisha was last seen in Shaadi Mubarak.
