Adnan recently reacted to his wife’s Nihari and said that it looked delicious. A Twitter user tagged him and replied writing,” Too much of Tari/oil, it doesn’t look like an authentic nihari at all. But you are free to call it is your choice.” Adnan immediately took to his handle and replied with a throwback picture of himself where he was very fat. He wrote that he became fat because he ate a lot.

Singer Adnan Sami had become the poster boy of losing weight. Many rumours mentioned that the singer went through liposuction. However, Adnan denied and said that these reports weren’t true. In 2005 he had to undergo the surgery for lymphedema. This became a major turning point in his life. His doctors informed him that with so much weight Adnan would only live for the next six months. He immediately flew to Houston and hired a nutritionist. He required a lot of support from his family and friends for the same.

In an interview, he mentioned that along with exercising, he needed a lot of will power. He was also on a no sugar, no oil and a high protein diet. He added that weightloss requires 80 per cent psychological and only 20 per cent physical efforts. After he lost weight he stuck to the low-carb high protein diet and has been continuing with the same for years now.
