After ’83, Ranveer Singh And Kabir Khan To Reunite? Actor-Director Duo In Talks For A New Project

After producing iconic films like Kabul Express, New York, Ek Tha Tiger, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Kabir Khan is ramping up for the release of 83′, a biopic about cricketer Kapil Dev starring Ranveer Singh. The film is set for a December 24 release in theatres throughout the world, and the promotional campaign is expected to begin soon. According to insiders, following 83, Ranveer Singh and Kabir Khan have begun discussions on a new project, which, if everything goes well, may begin filming as early as Summer 2022.

According to sources, Kabir and Ranveer formed an exceptionally strong relationship while filming 83′ and are quite pleased with the completed project. However, it’s clear that they want to continue working together. During the lockdown, Kabir was trying to figure out what he should do next, and that’s when he came up with an outstanding underdog narrative of a small-town child. He told it to Ranveer, who was captivated by the idea and ready to get started on it right away.

The two are now negotiating a number of issues, and if everything falls into place, an official announcement should be made by early next year. By Summer 2022, the plan is to put it on floors. According to the reports, Ranveer would have finished filming for the Rohit Shetty comedy Cirkus and Karan Johar directed Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani by then. Meanwhile, the trailer for 83′ will be released in early December, and the film’s producers have planned a strict marketing campaign.

The crew is confident in their product, and because the film lacks several songs, they have chosen a campaign that is much shorter. According to reports, the teaser will make a lot of buzzes and serve as a great build-up to this sports drama about India’s 1983 World Cup victory. After 83′, Ranveer will next be seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, a Yash Raj Production. According to sources, the picture is receiving rave reviews, combining drama and passion with a healthy dose of humour. It is scheduled to be released in February 2022.
