After Aryan Khan’s Arrest In Drug Case, NCB Conducts Raid On Film Producer Imtiaz Khatri’s Office And Residence In Mumbai

Imtiaz Khatri is one of the film producers in the Bollywood industry. On Saturday, his home and office in Mumbai’s Bandra were raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The raid comes in connection with Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan’s drug case. Imtiaz Khatri’s name came up during the interrogation of Achit Kumar. Achit was arrested earlier this week from suburban Powai after a small quantity of hydroponic weed alias multi-strain cannabis was seized from his possession.

Looking back, Imtiaz’s name came into the light last year after the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The lawyer of the late actor’s former manager Shruti Modi, Ashok Saraogi, had alleged Imtiaz Khatri’s involvement. He claimed that Imtiaz Khatri supplied drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty.

Ashok Saraogi had then said that a few days ago, an MLA from Mumbai, Ram Kadam took the name of Imtiaz Khatri. Even he made an inquiry about Khatri from Bandra. If he is the same Imtiaz Khatri, then he is a big shot. Imtiaz is well connected in Bollywood, Ashok said.

Talking about the drug-on-cruise case, the anti-drugs agency had earlier arrested nine people, including Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. After the raid, the NCB’s Mumbai zonal unit started a search operation on drug peddlers connected with the arrested persons.

Making it a note, till now 18 persons have been arrested by NCB in connection with the drugs on cruise case. The agency had seized 3 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 22 MDMA pills, 5 grams of MD, and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash during the cruise ship raid.

Yesterday, the Mumbai court rejected the bail of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha and sent them to judicial custody. Aryan’s lawyer, Maneshinde is preparing to file a motion before the Session court. Till then Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan is shifted to Arthur Jail in Mumbai.
