Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj And Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey To Have A Box Office Clash On Diwali 2021

Upcoming Bollywood films Prithviraj and Jersey are reportedly going to release on the same day. Sources claim that these films are set to hit the big screens on November 5, 2021. Both Prithviraj and Jersey are big-budget projects and pack with a powerful cast. While Akshay Kumar will be seen as the historical ruler, Prithviraj, Jersey will be lead by Shahid Kapoor and will see him as a cricketer. Watch the news video below to find out more details.

As we know, 2020 has been quite a challenging year due to the pandemic. Just like other industries, even the film industry took a massive hit. While several filmmakers resorted to OTT platforms, some postpone the release dates of their films. Now that theatres have opened up again with full capacity, films have begun releasing on the big screens.

Unfortunately for Prithviraj and Jersey, these films will be releasing on the same day and will cause a competition at the box office. Both these actors enjoy a massive fan following. While Akshay Kumar has always been popular among the fans, Kapoor garnered a lot of appreciation from fans after Kabir Singh’s release.

As it turns out, this is not the first time for two big films to be released on the same day. This kind of clash keeps happening quite often. Similar to Prithviraj and Jersey, two other films will be releasing on the same day – Satyamev Jayate 2 and Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai. Actor Salman Khan will be seen in Radhe whereas John Abraham will be seen in Satyamev Jayate 2.

While all four films are big-budget projects and feature a powerful cast, it will be hard to predict which film does better at the box office. May the best one win.
