Akshaye Khanna And Raveena Tandon Team Up For A Web Series, ‘Legacy’

Bollywood and several other film industries are slowly turning their attention towards the booming digital industries. Many Bollywood actors and actresses are trying to cement their place by making their debut in web shows and films. The latest acting duo to step foot in the OTT industry is Akshaye Khanna and Raveena Tandon. Find out details about this duo’s maiden project below.

The Coronavirus pandemic entered India in 2020. Since then, the entertainment industry has not been able to work with full force and has been adhering to strict health protocols and shooting guidelines. Many films and TV show shootings were halted for months. Moreover, many film producers chose to release their films online. The lockdown even led to people depending heavily on OTT and digital platforms for their entertainment, thus providing a major boost to the industry.

No wonder, many Bollywood, as well as regional films stars, are now eager to star in OTT films and series. Now, Bollywood actors Akshaye Khanna and Raveena Tandon are the latest addition to this list. These two actors will soon be making their OTT debut in a brand-new series. While Akshay Khanna had already signed the State of Seige: Temple Attack show with ZEE5, this would be Raveena Tandon’s debut venture. Hence, their fans are eager to see the duo’s chemistry on the small screen.

Akshaye Khanna and Raveena’s web series has been titled ‘Legacy’. The web series will be directed by Vijay Gutte. Gutte has previously directed the film, The Accidental Prime Minister starring Anupam Kher along with Akshaye. The web series will go on floors at end of 2021. Other details about this show are still under wraps. Raveena Tandon also shared this announcement on social media. Talking about web series, Raveena Tandon will also be seen in an upcoming Netflix series titled ‘Aranyak’. The show will chronicle the journey of two cops as they try to find a missing tourist. Moreover, this tourist search begins as they battle the myth of a “blood-thirsty entity in the forest”.
