Alia Bhatt Recalls Her “Gigantic Life-Changing Experience” As She Pens A Heartwarming Note On Gangubai Kathiawadi’s Wrap

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has made a name for herself through all the incredible films she’s done. She’s one of those star kids who have truly proven their worth to the industry as well as the audience. The actress has been working on, Gangubai Kathiawadi, her upcoming film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, for almost two years now. With the shoot finally wrapping up, the actress shared a heartwarming post on her Instagram, appreciating all that the film has given her.

All that the Gangubai Kathiawadi crew went through

Alia Bhatt shared a post with three pictures from the wrap of Gangubai Kathiawadi, two of them featuring her with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and one with the crew. Recalling the rollercoaster experience of making this film, Alia said, “This film and the set has been through two lockdowns.. two cyclones.. director and actor getting covid during the making!”. She also added how the hurdles this film has faced could be made into another movie altogether.

Working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Alia mentions how working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali was always a dream of hers, although she says nothing could’ve prepared her for this journey. The actress calls it a “gigantic life-changing experience” that has transformed her into a completely new person. Expressing her love and gratitude towards the ace director, Alia Bhatt also claimed that “there is truly NO ONE like you(Sanjay)”.

Alia added that with the end of this film, she has lost a part of her. However, she’ll love and miss “Gangu”, the character she played. She also talked about how her film crew has become more like a family over the years and appreciated their efforts to make this film possible.

Alia Bhatt upcoming films

Apart from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia will also be seen in S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR as Sita. Meanwhile, the actress will also be seen romancing her real-life beau Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmāstra. Alia has also signed the dark comedy, Darlings, with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
