Alia Bhatt Showers Love On Boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor’s Mother Neetu Kapoor’s Social Media Picture After Wrapping-up Jug Jugg Jeeyo

Neetu Kapoor recently wrapped up the shoot schedule for Jug Jugg Jeeyo. She also posted a Mirror-Fie on her social media announcing the same. Lots of love was poured in for the actress and her going to be daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt too left the sweetest comment.

Neetu Kapoor in her post wrote that she had a wonderful experience during the shoot of the film and she made some lovely friends and gained confidence which was much needed at that time and this movie will always be special.

Alia Bhatt left a comment saying ‘ So Pretty’ and Neetu Kapoor replied with the emoji duo. Neetu’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor commented, “Most beautiful” while her co-star in the film Kiara Advani wrote, “You are very special”. Neetu Kapoor also received love from Anil Kapoor, who is featured opposite her in ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’.

Penning a special note for Neetu Kapoor after the film’s wrap, director Raj Mehta had shared she remembers her excitement when Karan mentioned your name for Geeta’s part in Jug Jugg Jeeyo! When he met Neetu for the first time, he knew there wasn’t going to be anyone better. You are, and have always been an epitome of grace and strength for many fans all over, including myself. Like he’s said many times before, it’s been an absolute privilege to get to direct you. On your wrap for the film, just wanted to thank you for being a part of this piece of his heart and always being a sport! Big hug ma’am.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo marks the return of Neetu to the big screen after seven years. She was last seen in Besharam. Neetu, along with her late husband, actor Rishi Kapoor, featured alongside their son Ranbir Kapoor in the film directed by Abhinav Kashyap.

Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Jug Jugg Jeeyo features Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor and is directed by Raj Mehta.

The shoot for Jug Jugg Jeeyo began in November 2020, months after Rishi Kapoor died following a long battle against cancer. The film’s shoot was halted a few times during the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor tested positive for the virus during the shoot, which was one of the reasons for the movie shoot to pause for some time.
