All You Need To Know About Manmohini Stars Karam Rajpal And Vaishali Takkar

Karam and Vaishali recently joined the Zee TV romantic thriller show as the lead pair Shiv and Ananya. Know more about them here.

Zee TV show, Manmohini has been witnessing some really interesting and intriguing plot twists and turns. Last month in November 2019, the television serial took a 20-year generation leap. Actors Karam Rajpal and Vaishali Takkar were introduced as the new lead pair on the daily soap, which earlier saw Ankit Siwach and Garima Rathore essay the central characters Ram and Siya. Reyhna Pandit continues to play the main antagonist Mohini, a 500-year-old witch. It is mention worthy that Karam entered the show as Ram and Mohini’s son,Mann, while Vaishali has been roped in to portray his love interest Ananya (aka Manasi). Karam and Vaishali’s attractive looks and sizzling chemistry has piqued our interest. And, viewers have been loving the fresh jodi too.

Karam was born on 2 May 1991 in Ludhiana, Punjab. The handsome Punjabi hunk kick started his acting career in 2011. He has been a part of several leading television shows. Karam even has an appearance in an. episode of And TV show, Laal Ishq to his credit. Notably, he played a cameo role in 2013 Bollywood film Mere Dad Ki Maruti starring Saqib Saleem and Ram Kapoor. Last seen in a negative role in a popular daily soap, Karam entered Manmohini as Shiv aka Mann. His character is Mohini’s son, but raised by Ram and Siya. After their death, Mohini’s evil powers in Shiv overpower him from time to time but he manages to keep it under control. However, Mohini wants to kill Shiv and take her powers back.

As for Vaishali, her character, Ananya, is a chirpy girl from Banaras. Manmohini marks Vaishali’s second collaboration with Zee TV after Yeh Vaada Raha in 2016. Ananya falls in love with Shiv. Mohini, on the other hand, shall use Ananya to get to Mann, but little does she know that Mann has returned as Shiv. In a conversation with a leading daily, Vaishali spoke at length about her role saying, “The backdrop is also shifting from Rajasthan to Banaras and I play Ananya, who belongs to an upper middle-class family from there. She is a bad-ass, but has a good heart. My homework for the character is to learn the accent used in urban Uttar Pradesh, but keep it subtle at the same time.”
