All You Need To Know About The Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Senior 2 Finalists

In just one day’s time, we will find out who will take home the winning trophy of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors 2. The show went on air in May 2019 and will air its grand finale tomorrow. Sukanya, Aslam, Aishwarya, Lakshmi and Karthik are the top 5 finalists of the season. Viewers are excitedly waiting to see which one of their favourite contestants will make it to the top 3 and who will lift the winning trophy. The show will go on air tomorrow, i.e., 19 October 2019, 6.30 pm onward. The semi-finale was an entertaining one which had music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja appear as a special guest on the show.

Sukanya

Sukanya has been one of the strongest contestants on the show from the beginning. During a non-competitive round on the show, she opened up about her mother. She said that her mother is all the inspiration she needs in the world since she has faced a lot of hurdles to get her daughter to where she is. Sukanya also credits her mother for being able to reach the finale.

Aslam

Aslam is another contestant who has literally given judges and viewers goosebumps with his performances. In fact, a devotional number that he had sung in an episode is still considered to be one of the best performances. He received a lot of appreciation from the judges for it. Besides being a talented singer, Aslam is also great at mimicking.

Karthik

Watching Karthik perform on stage is a treat to the eyes and the ears. The contestant was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, a development disorder that affects communication and behaviour. His mother said in the first episode how proud she is of him and how much he loves singing.

Aishwarya

Aishwarya is known for her unique, rustic voice. This contestant is always up for a challenge and impresses judges with the energy that she brings to any song. She even got judge Sujatha to dance on the stage to her song in the one of the early episodes. Aishwarya always picks the most difficult songs to sing and pulls it off like a pro.

Lakshmi

Lakshmi is known for singing folk songs and she, too, has managed to get judges to groove to her songs. The judges called her voice a gift after her performance in the semi-finale. In fact, Sujatha told her that she should definitely try out western music, too. She took Yuvan by surprise with her performance since he was wondering if someone with a knack for folk songs will do justice to other kinds of music or not. In fact, he also told her that she gave him an idea to try something new soon. Will she be one of those lucky singers to sing for a song composed by Yuvan?
