Who doesn’t love the amazing duo– Chinnan and Devan on the Malayalam serial Alliyambal? With their fun moments of bromance, these two remain to be an all-time favourite of the audience. The two childhood friends might look buffed up and barbaric, but only when you know them both that you will learn they are the most lovable ones on the show. 1. Chinnan warns Devan of Salomi

Even though he is Devan’s sidekick, Chinnan is never afraid to correct him when he is wrong. Devan falls for Salomi’s words when he goes to meet Vavachan who is hiding from him. Salomi lures Devan with her sweet words about how he is an admirable man. Only when Chinnan tells Devan of Salomi’s character that Devan knows how he got tricked by her.

2. Chinnan informs Devan of Vavachan’s actions

There are many instances in the show where Chinnan showed Devan that he is the best friend anyone would want. When Vavachan breaks saltwater into Devan’s paddy field, Chinnan is the one who runs to save the crops. He also informs Devan that it was Vavachan’s revenge for yelling at him for Alli. Chinnan joins Devan as he rushes to Vavachan’s house to teach him a lesson.

3. Devan and Chinnan go for tuitions

One of the funniest moments from Chinnan and Devan came when they go for tuitions with kids at Alli’s house. Devan tells Chinnan that he can’t go alone as he will be learning the alphabet with little kids. Chinnan also agrees to go with Devan as he is his best friend and wingman. After all, how can you be besties if you are not willing to do embarrassing things together?

4. Chinnan makes Alli talk to Devan again

Chinnan has shown Devan during several instances that he is more than just a friend for him. When Alli gets worried about her family’s bank loan, she stops talking to Pavithra and Devan. Chinnan understands that Devan is saddened by the same and tries to fix their problems. He stops Alli on the way and forces her to talk to Devan about her concerns.
