Actors are people who can become anything they wish to. They take up roles that one can ever imagine, be it a taxi driver, a vegetable seller or, say, a coolie. Actors never fail to make a mark with their exceptional roles

We know of Bollywood actors who have played several roles, and we have also known actors who have played a similar role in many films. It looks like actors who have shared a role with other actors have done different acting even though the script required a similar personality. Here are Bollywood actors who played the role of a Coolie in films.

1. Amitabh Bachchan

This Coolie movie of 1983 would be remembered by every Amitabh Bachchan fan. In this film, Amitabh Bachchan plays a coolie who is lost in childhood and finds himself working as a collie when he gets older. In this movie, Amitabh Bachchan did all the stunts by himself as he was the upcoming star. Upon one such stunt, Amitabh Bachchan got injured very badly. He was on the verge of death, and many almost gave up hope. His fans all over the nation prayed for his recovery. He finally came home on August 2, 1982. Fans consider 1982 to be his second birthday. It was a well-received film.

2. Govinda

Govinda is arguably the funniest Coolie ever played by any Bollywood actor. Govinda always jazzes up his roles with his eccentric personality. People loved him as he played Coolie in the 1995 movie, Coolie no 1. Govinda’s timing, ability to carry off the most outrageous dialogues, the way he roasts people, and his dance moves are immortalized forever. Govinda proved that the actor who is better than Govinda is Govinda himself.

3. Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan is one of the finest actors we have in Bollywood. He debuted in Student of the year and has played many roles of different personalities. While he’s been a hit newcomer, he was cast in the film Coolie no 1 by his father, David Dhawan, the director of the 1995 version of the film. In the movie, Javed Jaffrey, a matchmaker, is insulted by Jeffrey Rozario, played by Paresh Rawal, a wealthy businessman. As a result, he makes coolie, Varun Dhawan pretends to be a rich man and marries him off to Rozario’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan. The movie was fun and made audiences laugh.
