Ananya Pandey On Starry Nights Gen Y: Punit Never Lets Anyone Hit On Me!

Actress Ananya Pandey who made her debut in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 recently appeared on Komal Nahta’s Starry Nights Gen Y. Her role in Pati Patni Aur Woh was also the subject of discussion among audiences.

The episode started with Ananya appreciating Konal’s Gen Y style quotient in a warm and lovely gesture.

Komal asked Ananya about her Dharma Productions film, to which she replied that she has grown up watching Dharma films and the tune of Dharma is the best thing for her. She always knew that she was going to be an actress. But her parents only took this seriously after Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris.

Talking about her co-actors, Ananya said she likes all of them. There is so much to learn from each one of them. Komal moved on to nepotism and asked for her view. Ananya didn’t deny the presence of nepotism. She said she is very blessed to be a part of the industry and very grateful that people were around her. But coming from a film background is not everything, You need to have the talent to convince the audience to like you beyond your name.

She said on style and fashion sense, it will and always be Ranveer Singh because of the way he pulls off his game of fashion.
While playing a game, Ananya said, she thinks if not an actor, Tara Sutaria would be a cook or singer, and Tiger shroff would be either a gym trainer or a motivational speaker.

Talking about trolls, Ananya said she believes in positivity and kindness. She also moved on to acknowledge that she is this bundle of kindness and positivity because of her father.

Later on the show, Ananya was joined by her mentor and director of Student of the Year 2, Punit Malhotra. Punit opened up about Ananya and said he taught her to be diplomatic, which she started using with him too! Ananya said that Punit never let anyone hit on her and that’s why she is single.

Before wrapping up the show, Komal showed Ananya a video message from Bhumi Pednekar, which was sweet and humble.

Komal ended the show by giving tokens 0f her appreciation to Punit and Ananya.
