Angelina Jolie, 46, gets immense attention for her acting talents and get praised for being outspoken. Angelina Jolie does not only act in movies, however,  she also contributes as a Special Envoy at UNHCR. Over the past months, she has been actively supporting Afghanistan’s women during immense crises. The Girl Interrupted star knows how to grab attention because she seemed to get the same amount of attention for her personal life. Angelina Jolie has been married three times in her life, and each marriage got the enormous spotlight. Jonny Lee Miller

Angelina’s first husband was Jonny Lee Miller. In 1995, the British actor met the actress on the set of Hackers and began dating her soon after. They married in 1996, and Angelina stunned the world by allegedly writing Jonny’s name on a white shirt she borrowed from him to wear at their wedding. Their marriage lasted until 1999, and Angelina Jolie subsequently told the Calgary Sun that the reason for their divorce was not because they had a horrible relationship.

Billy Bob Thornton

Angelina Jolie’s second husband was Billy Bob Thornton. After performing together in the 1999 film Pushing Tin, they married in 2000. The media flocked to the lovebirds, who were 20 years apart in age, for their ongoing PDA at events and other trips. They were also in the news for allegedly wearing vials of each other’s blood around their necks to show off their undying love. Angelina Jolie adopted her son Maddox from Cambodia as a single parent in March 2002, when he was just seven months old, but still married to Billy. She and Billy then separated in June 2002 and divorced the following year.

Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is Angelina Jolie’s third spouse and the father of her six children. After they both appeared in the film Mr. & Mrs Smith in 2004, he started dating her. Even though Brad and Angelina “fell in love” on the set, he and Angelina insisted there was no infidelity. Brad was still married to actress Jennifer Aniston, with whom he exchanged vows in 2000, causing headline-making controversy, but he and Angelina insisted there was no infidelity even though they “fell in love” on the set. Jennifer filed for divorce two months after Brad and Jennifer announced their separation in January 2005.
