Animal: Ranbir Kapoor Starrer To Release On Eid 2023; Actor To Commence Shooting Of Sandeep Vanga Directorial In Summer Next Year

Ranbir Kapoor recently went on a vacation with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt to Jodhpur. The celebrity couple went to the city to celebrate the actor’s 39th birthday. Now that they have returned to Mumbai, the actors’ duo is pulling sleeves to complete their professional commitments. Ranbir Kapoor will commence shooting for the dark gangster drama, Animal. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

It was reported by a leading portal that Ranbir Kapoor will kickstart the shoot of dark drama from April 2022. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film stars Bobby Deol, Parineeti Chopra, and Anil Kapoor.

A source close to the development told a leading portal that Animal is larger than life. It is an intense gangster drama that explores varied human emotions ranging from anger to ego like never before. The producer Bhushan Kumar along with all the stakeholders have started conversations on the release date of Animal, and if all goes as planned, it will be the big Eid 2023 release at the global box office.

The source further added that the film is commercial, high on Testosterone and the team feels that the premise makes it a perfect Eid outing for the audience. There is a scope of powerful music too in here. If everything goes as per the plan, Animal will mark Ranbir Kapoor’s first film to release on Eid. For an unversed Salman Khan, had earlier added sparkles to Eid as most of his films including Wanted, Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Sultan among others were released on Eid.

As Ranbir Kapoor will commence the shoot of Animal next year, he will shoot for a six-month schedule in April. As per the reports, Ranbir Kapoor will play a psychopath in the film. It is yet to be confirmed by the officials. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will be next seen in Luv Ranjan’s next. He also has Brahmastra in his pipeline.
