Anita Hassanandani: I Never Want To Work With Eijaz Khan Again

Popular television actress Anita Hassanandani and Grand Masti fame Karishma Tanna recently appeared on ZEE5 show A Table for Two. Hosted by Ira Dubey, the show has previously seen the likes of Sriti Jha, Mouni Roy, Anusha Dandekar, and Karan Kundra pay a visit. Anita, who is now happily married to Rohit Reddy, spoke about her alleged ex-boyfriend and actor Eijaz Khan on A Table for Two.

Ira asked Anita to name one actor she never wants to work with again, “Eijaz Khan,” quickly she replied. Moreover, when quizzed what she would do if she were to ever wake up as Eijaz, Anita said she’d go back to sleep. Needless to spell, these answers have made the equation between Anita and Eijaz pretty clear. These rumoured exes can never be friends, it seems!

For those unaware, Anita and Eijaz were linked during the early 2000s, when they headlined a leading television show. Their chemistry on the daily soap was very much appreciated by the audience and they were hailed as one of the best onscreen couples then. However, it was reported that Anita and Eijaz split ways. The former married corporate professional Rohit Reddy in 2013.

Speaking about her love story with Rohit, Anita revealed how her husband claims he didn’t know she was an actress when he met her. Anita still doesn’t believe him till date. She further revealed that Anita met Rohit at a bar. Across the bar, he sent her a drink. He even tried a very cheesy pickup line: Do you come to Leena Mogres’ gym? But Anita turned him down then. After they bumped into each other a couple of times and Rohit pursued her on Facebook, she finally started dating him. The rest, as they say, is history!
