On its eighth day of release, the Mahesh Manjrekar-directed picture earned Rs 1.40 crores at the box office. According to sources of a leading daily, the flick was closer to Rs 1.75 crore on Friday, where it saw a decrease. The cause for the drop is the premiere of Tadap, a film starring Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria. Despite stiff competition from a new film, Antim The Final Truth Box Office Collection Day 9 saw it increase by 50% compared to Second Friday.
In an interview with a leading daily. Salman Khan discussed the film’s slow start. He said that it’s performing a great deal better because of the word-of-mouth that he is in the movie. Folks thought he was just in the movie for 5-15 minutes. It is, however, untrue. After they saw the movie, the rumour died away.
More specifically, when it came to Antim’s box office earnings, the film did well when it was released in theatres alone. The cop-mobster film starring Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma was doing well at the time. The film had earned Rs 30.75 crores at the time. With the release of Tadap, the film faced tough competition at the box office as it approached Rs 40 crores.
The Hindi film Antim is a remake of the Marathi film Mulshi Pattern. Salman Khan can be seen as a Sikh cop in the film. His brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, on the other side, played a lethal mobster. Even before the film’s debut, the trailer gave an indication that the picture will be a complete bundle of action, drama, and romance at some point. We hope the movie breaks box office records and continues to entertain the audience as it has been doing.
