Salman Khan is back with yet another cop movie, Antim: The Final Truth, although this time he’s not playing Chulbul Pandey. Sallu Bhai conveys his wish to be considered as a god in his depiction of Rajveer, a tough-as-nails, cool-as-a-cucumber Sardar officer.

This part has undergone a full transformation, and one should expect to see Salman Khan in an entirely different avatar in this film, in which he will share the same platform with his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma. The actor put forth a lot of effort to create this persona and is confident in Rajveer’s success.

According to reports of leading publications, Salman Khan spoke to reporters and opened up on his new role, the inspiration for the entire film, and why he feels Rajveer, the Sardar officer, is different from the others. Rajveer’s persona was created in the Dabangg actor’s Panvel farmhouse with director Mahesh Manjrekar. Mulshi Pattern, a 2018 Marathi film, inspired Antim.

To begin, Salman explained why he began working on the film. He stated that a DOP came to them with the movie premise and that he viewed the movie that was created out of it during his time at the farmhouse. He went on to say that he fell in love with the cop’s character. So he decided to see the film from the officer’s point of view.

Salman Khan mentioned why he insisted on becoming a part of the Antim story, saying that Arbaaz Khan found out Mahesh Manjrekar was working on a project. When he saw it, he thought, Why did they leave the cop’s persona like that?  It was about that other boy, and it turned out to be an intriguing movie.

As a result, he wished to change the character’s fate. He reiterated that he couldn’t portray this character as he did in Dabangg since it would put him in a rut. Salman Khan is passionate about his portrayal of this character. His character is tightly confined, his character in the movie is Hindustani and tough.  He doesn’t holler or shout, and he’s completely concentrated on what he’s doing. He will accept commands and be humiliated, but he will do what has to be done at the appropriate moment. Even if it means sacrificing a person, he will do it for the sake of what is right, he added in justification of his character. He further said that his role was only featured in four or five scenes in the Marathi film.

Salman Khan was also adamant about making his persona appear to be a God. He stated that when we play a part, we must appear to be God and make the character appear to be God as well. Furthermore, he feels the Sardars’ warrior-like appearance is ideal for the role.
