Anushka Sharma Reveals What’s Stopping Her From Commencing New Projects After Her Sabbatical Leave

Anushka Sharma had recently fulfilled her brand endorsement commitments despite being away from the silver screen since 2018. The actress was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s Zero, she probably did not sign any film. The actress embraced motherhood after she welcomed her first child, Vamika. Now, the actress revealed why she didn’t begin her work after her sabbatical. 

The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress wanted to take some time off and think carefully about the kind of work she is taking up. She also spoke about mental health and revealed the importance of taking a break because of the trying times we are in right now.

According to her, having a choc-o-bloc diary doesn’t mean that a certain person is a better worker. She adds, ‘As a creative individual, you have to allow yourself that breathing room, that space to grow, invent, and re-invent.’

Anushka Sharma feels that women have pressure before and after their marriage life as well. The actress added that kept on pondering that whether she would hate her body after becoming pregnant or not. However, Anushka shared pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic taught her to look at life in a positive manner.  

The actress who has remained away from the silver screen has accompanied Virat Kohli for almost all the cricket tournaments he played during her pregnancy.
