Anya Singh Returns As Tanie, Falls For The Fake Date In #NKYBFLockdownSpecial

The first season of Never Kiss Your Best Friend released in January this year. Anya Singh and Nakuul Mehta won audiences hearts as Tanie and Sumer in the first season. We saw the story of their friendship right from their college days to their adulthood. As #EntertainmentUnlocked, Anya Singh is set to return as Tanie with Zain Imam for a new lockdown special focusing on the world of online dating during social distancing.

This lockdown special begins with Tanie trying to resurrect her image as a romantic author, best-selling writer. She has to fake an online relationship with her first guy best friend cum boyfriend, played by Zain Anam. She then finds herself falling in love again with him, leading to disastrous consequences. Thus asking an important question all of us have faced at some point in the lockdown #ExYaNext?

This special is written once again by Sumrit Shahi and Durjoy Datta who co-wrote the first season. Niki Walia too continues in her role as Tanie’s mother and is joined by Javed Jaffery, Anup Soni, and Juhi Babbar.
