Arpita Khan Sharma Clarifies She Tested Covid Positive In April And Is Completely Fine Now

On Monday, Salman Khan during a media invitation revealed that his sister Arpita Khan Sharma tested positive for Covid-19 and her children got it too but they were asymptomatic. He further said that his sister Alvira also got it, but she recovered soon. This left fans in a frenzy and they began asking about Arpita’s whereabouts. However, she later took Instagram to reveal that she tested positive for the virus in April and is completely fine now.
Arpita Khan Sharma took to Instagram to announce, “I tested positive for Covid-19 at the beginning of the month of April 2021 however I was asymptomatic. I followed all the guidelines and protocols and thankfully with the grace of God, I have fully recovered and have been well since. Stay Safe. Stay Strong. Stay Positive (sic).”
During the press conference, Salman Khan urged his fans to stay safe and take all necessary precautions. He further said that Covid-19 should not be taken lightly because earlier he used to hear people getting positive but this time most of his family members tested positive and that scared him. Speaking about helping people in the time of need he said that he receives hundreds of calls everyday, for help and added that they are trying their best to reach out to people.

Earlier, Salman Khan’s film Radhe was supposed to release on ZEE5. However, the actor has now decided to release his film in theatres. Taking it to social media, he wrote, “Radhe is a film to be released in multiplexes or single theatres. Our films usually do a business of Rs 200 crore Rs 300 but this time it won’t be the same case because of the coronavirus. But we will definitely entertain our fans during this difficult time. However, when the lockdown ends and everything is back to normal, we will release the film in theatres.”
