Juhi Chawla arrived at the special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances court on Friday night to sign the Rs. 1 lakh bond on bail for Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan after bail conditions were announced at the Bombay High Court.
As Aryan Khan’s attorney Satish Maneshinde said, Shah Rukh Khan’s close friend and Bollywood actor who appeared in several films together was Aryan Khan’s supporter. Maneshinde quoted that Juhi has known Aryan since he was born. Because of her professionally connection with Shah Rukh Khan.
When the Bombay High Court announced the bail conditions for Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha on Friday, Aryan’s lawyers began preparing the papers as they were due to arrive at Arthur Road Prison by 5:30 pm to allow Aryan to walk out of the jail by today.
Maneshinde said that they had got the operative part of the order of the Bombay High court. They were trying to complete other formalities like sureties. Their legal team was working and trying for a release today by today. Maneshinde also stated that as he entered the NDPS court soon after the bail conditions were made available. It was then actor Juhi Chawla reached the court to be the surety for Aryan Khan.
Maneshinde presented Aryan Khan’s surety while Juhi Chawla entered the witness box. Maneshinde also appealed to the court to release Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, though he was not appearing for them.
After the NDPS court checked Juhi Chawla’s documents, she went to the department to complete the rest of the proceedings. When the process was completed by 5pm, Manesinde said in front of the NDPS Court that the bail process is complete. Juhi Chawla’s surety is acceptable. They are moving forward. Everyone will see Aryan soon.
For the unversed, Aryan Khan, the eldest son of Shah Rukh Khan with at least 10 other people, was discovered to be part of NCB’s first raid on a luxury ship, Cordelia Cruises, reports speculate that the cruise ship was preparing to lift and voyage to Goa for a super fun two-night stay at the former destination while having 1,300 well-off passengers on board.
