Aryan Khan was in NCB custody as he was detained by the officials after a raid at a rave party on Mumbai to Goa bound cruise on October 2. He was in the custody since then and he will be appearing at the court for the hearing of his drug case. Aryan will be produced before the Esplanade Court, today for his bail hearing in the drugs case. He along with his friend Arbaaz Merchant and others who were arrested, including Munmun Dhamecha will be produced before the Magistrate at 2.30 pm.
The lawyers of Aryan’s friend Arbaz Merchant have filed a bail application for him and sought an application seeking CCTV footage of the raid. It was informed by the sources of a leading publication that the agency has detained a foreign national and commercial quantity of drugs was recovered from him yesterday night. The NCB has arrested a foreign national from Bandra late Wednesday night. According to the reports of a leading daily, a commercial quantity of mephedrone (MD) was recovered from him. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is likely to seek an extension in the custody of Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan.
The man was reportedly found in an area that was in close proximity to both Aryan and his friend, Arbaaz Merchant. Aryan was expected to be set free as the NCB’s custody comes to an end today. Now as there has been a new development in the process, it has been reported that the NCB may extend custody of Aryan and the others who are arrested.
Adding more to this, Aryan’s WhatsApp chats recovery details and additional raid information was shown in the involvement of the accused. In the heated arguments, Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde was objecting to NCB and read the list of evidence seized against the accused. He also suggested that the judge should peruse it silently. These were chat details recovered from Aryan Khan’s WhatsApp conversations.
Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, and his friends Arbaaz and Munmun have been charged with sections 8(c) read with sections 20b, 27, 28, 29, and 35 under the NDPS Act. Aryan was first sent into NCB’s custody one day later on Monday, October 4, his custody was extended to October 7. Senior counsel Satish Maneshinde, who represents Aryan Khan is expected to make another application for bail.
