As the Milan Fashion Week comes to an end, Gigi Hadid sends gratitude to the team

More than halfway through the Fashion Month, the style set has officially migrated from New York to London, and now completed its few days of Italian shows in Milan before heading to Paris for the final countdown.

Gigi Hadid took to social media to send her gratitude to the entire team who helped her in the Milan Fashion week. She stated the exotic fashion brand Versace to be like her family and thanked all the other brands for letting her be a part of this iconic week. Indeed, if the classics characterize New York and the newcomers define London, Milan is the city of splendor.  

The Spring 2022 Fashion Month is the first in almost two years to allow for in-person runway walks with a seated audience to see the event personally. Whereas some designers continue to use films, outdoor presentations, and socially distanced seats, the vast majority have returned to producing conventional catwalks with supermodels such as Gigi Hadid.

Starting off by closing the Alberta Ferretti Spring-Summer 2022 runway show, Gigi Hadid sent fringes dancing down as she walked the ramp. Gigi Hadid returned to Milan to close the show in a black plunging gown after skipping London Fashion Week to throw her daughter Khai her first birthday celebration. The Alberta Ferretti show was all about ethereal romantic dresses flowing in silk maxis and midis alike. 

Food trucks, cheerleaders, a brass band, and mascots were all on the menu at the Boss Spring Summer ’22 runway show. It gave Milan a temporary American makeover with Gigi Hadid rocking in a red pair of shorts, a white crop top, and a beige jacket.

Tods showcased a collection for today’s Milanese women. Gigi Hadid owned the runway as she walked down wearing a chained jacket dress and leather sandals. According to the presentation notes, the wardrobe had a desire for leisure while also extolling high taste and quality. With the Max Mara ‘22 collection, Gigi Hadid brought the retro look to the trends by wearing a denim jacket, skirt, and a black crop top. The fashion brand inculcated mismatched stitches and shades to the denim to bring out a trendier look.

Versace was all about bold metal pieces attached to bodycon dresses with shimmer down the runway.
