Ayushmann Khurrana Begins Shooting For ‘Doctor G’ In Bhopal

Taking up challenging roles with aplomb, Ayushmann Khurrana has redefined the meaning of heroism in Hindi Cinema. That’s one of the reasons why fans eagerly root for his new projects and the actor never fails to impress! Now, Ayushmann is back on the film sets as he begins working on his new project titled ‘Doctor G’. Helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the film went on floors in Bhopal today. Sharing his travelogue to shoot location, Ayushmann posted a series of pictures.

Doctor G will be a campus comedy-drama flick backed by Junglee Pictures. The film also features Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah in the lead roles. And the makers have finally begun the production in Bhopal which is scheduled for a month-long shoot. Ayushmann Khurrana has joined the team as he informed his fans through a series of Instagram stories. Sharing few pictures, the actor wrote, “For my next, ‘Doctor G'”.

Marking Day 1 on the sets, Junglee Pictures also announced the news through their social media handle.  Well, talking more about the film, Ayushmann, Rakul, and Shefali will be seen as doctors. While nothing more about their characters or plotline is revealed, fans are expecting another conceptual story featuring Ayushmann.

Also, another interesting highlight is director Anubhuti Kashyap who is on board for the film. Earlier, she impressed the audience with her web show ‘Afsos’ featuring Gulshan Devaiah in lead. And thus the expectations surrounding Doctor G are quite high. It will also be the first time that the three lead actors, Aysuhamann, Shefali, and Rakul will be sharing screen space with each other.

In terms of their individual projects, Aysuhmann has ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ and the thriller ‘Anek’ on his work front. On the other hand, Rakul will be reuniting with Ajay Devgn for the film Mayday.
