Ayushmann Khurrana must be on cloud nine as his romantic film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui got a theatrical release on December 10. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor in the lead role and it is directed by filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor. The film has already impressed the audience as they are walking into theatres to enjoy the entertainment package on large screens.
Let’s talk about the actor’s previously released films. He made his Bollywood debut with the hit movie named Vicky Donor. But later, his three films including Nautanki Saala, Hawaii and Bewakoofiyan were released that did not make an expected buzz at the box-office. In an interaction with a leading daily, Ayushmann Khurrana revealed what response he got after his three films flopped at the box-office.
The actor revealed that after the flop films he met a director who told him that his movies wouldn’t sell anymore. Ayushmann did not reveal the name of the director but said that he told him that as his three films did not make a proper income his further films also may not attract more audience.
While talking to a leading portal, the actor stated that he had said no to a film. When he met the denial, the filmmaker told him that he does not sell. The actor was also asked the reason for his denial of the film. That filmmaker said him that he was doing me a favour by offering Ayushmann the film. His later release Dum Laga Ke Haisha impressed the audience and opened to great reviews.
The actor had to test his patience as he waited for 2 more years after Dum Laga Ke Haisha. Speaking of the same the actor stated that after the release of Dum Laga Ke Haisha, he stayed for the next project for two years as he didn’t had any release in those two years. That was the time when the actor was in wait for a strong film to enter his kitty.
