Today we interviewed Barkha Singh, the lovely actress, who will soon be seen in the upcoming ZEE5 Original film, Silence…Can You Hear It. Beginning her acting career as a child star, Barkha Singh has displayed her acting prowess on multiple platforms including TV shows, movies, and web series. Are you a morning person or a night person?

Barkha said that she is a night person.

Barkha chooses coffee over tea.

One thing that makes you angry?

“Being hungry! I’m a hangry person,” Barkha shared.

One bad habit of yours that no one knows about?

To this, the Silence actress answered, “I used to eat chalks sometimes, and I still do.”

What is your idea of a perfect date?

Barkha Singh said that her perfect date would be having a great conversation with her partner.

Most eligible bachelor according to you?

To this, Barkha Singh shared that she has always been a Channing Tatum fan, so for her, he is the most eligible bachelor.

What was the worst comment you received on social media?

“I generally try not to focus on negative comments, but something related to body shaming is what I never appreciate,” she said.

The silliest thing that you last searched on Google?

Barkha shared that her Google search is full of silly and weird things. “Today morning I was looking for the effect of sparkles on the human brain,” she added.

The strangest rumour you have heard about yourself?

Barkha shared that the strangest she has heard about herself is that she has bought her social media followers. She later busted the rumour, saying, “I’ve never done it, it’s 100% organic.”

Tell us about your journey from TV to films to web-series, and having your youtube channel – and what do you enjoy the most among these?

“My journey has been full of on-the-spot decisions and just following what I feel at that point. I can’t really pick a favourite because I really enjoy performing, so it’s not the medium that matters so much, but the project that does,” Barkha Singh answered.

Top 3 murder mysteries that you like?

Gone Girl, Seven, and Murder On The Orient Express are the three murder mysteries that she picked. About the third one, she said, “It feels very nostalgic to me.”

How was your experience working with a woman director?

About her experience working with Aban Bharucha Deohans, in Silence, Barkha said, “Aban ma’am is not just a woman, she is a superwoman. So my experience working with the superwoman was totally superb.”

What was your most challenging scene to shoot in Silence?

“The scene where I’m lying dead, that was so difficult. And there was another scene with Manoj sir where my character was lying dead, and every time Aban ma’am called cut, Manoj sir would laugh seeing me because I was struggling so much,” Barkha Singh shared.
