Barot House started streaming on ZEE5 on 7 August 2019 and first audience and celebrity reactions have started pouring in.

Barot House is a ZEE5 Original film which is streaming on the OTT platform from 7 August 2019 onwards. The movie, starring Amit Sadh and Manjari Fadnnis, marks the feature film debut of Bugs Bhargava Krishna. Soon after the film premiered on ZEE5, the audiences and critics were gung go about the psychological thriller. The viewers not only appreciated Amit and Manjari’s performances as Mr. and Mrs. Barot but were floored by the young Aaryan Menghji who plays their son Malhar. Despite the lack of experience, Aaryan is a show-stealer in every scene he stars in. The edgy flick received a lot of praise from celebrities who caught the screening a night prior to its platform release, and several others.

Barot House is based on a true story and traces the lives of Amit Barot and Bhavna Barot. The couple has four kids, and their lives are never the same after two of their daughters get mysteriously, brutally killed. The needle of suspicion points from Amit to their neighbour Anthony to Amit’s brother Ajay and even Malhar.

Praising the movie, Shweta Rohira tweeted, “#BarotHouse a movie that can chill you to the marrow. Furled with packed performance truly a must-watch.” Ashish Chowdhry called it a ‘goosebumpy’ ride.
