Bhagya Lakshmi 16 June 2022 Written Update: Lakshmi refuses to speak with Rishi

In the previous episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, Lakshmi asks Aahana to return home safely and later, finds Rishi sleeping in his room. She takes care of him but in his inebriated state, he tells her that they need to talk. Meanwhile, Malishka returns home and throws a tantrum. Kiran slaps her and tells her that she shouldn’t be losing to Lakshmi and she should be the one crying. The next morning, Rishi leaves for work and Karishma asks Harleen about the decorations going on. Harleen mentions that it is for Lakshmi and for her kid. At the office, Malishka comes to meet Rishi and tells him that she is done with him. Later, Kiran gets ready and tells Malishka to come with her to the Oberoi House as she can still win Rishi over. She mentions that they need to humiliate Lakshmi and get Neelam down, to tell her about the pregnancy. She talks about creating a scene at the function. Lakshmi hugs Harleen at the function and expresses her gratitude. 

In the next episode of Bhagya Lakshmi, at the function, Rishi confronts Lakshmi and tells her that he has to speak with her. She tries to escape him, but Rishi corners her and demands an answer. Gautam and his family arrive, and Lakshmi goes to greet them, dodging Rishi’s questioning. Rishi notices Lakshmi across the room and decides to speak with her regardless. They eventually cross, but Lakshmi slips and Rishi catches her. Malishka arrives at that precise moment and sees them together. Rishi dismisses Lakshmi, who is enraged, and informs him that they will speak after Aahana’s ceremony. Lakshmi later approaches Aahana and congratulates her. Karishma interrupts and scolds Lakshmi, telling her that she has damaged everyone’s lives and that she should be ashamed of herself. Karishma is interrupted by Aayush, who tells her not to say anything to Lakshmi. He says that Lakshmi wants everyone’s attention and that they should not waste time on her. Aayush’s taunts hurt Lakshmi, and she recalls a time when he was on her side. Lakshmi makes a pledge to herself that their relationship will never end because she loves him and the rest of the family. Later, Aayush teases Gautam and Aahana, but his mother summons Lakshmi, who informs them that traditional dancers have been invited to the wedding. Rishi yells at her but Gautam reacts before Lakshmi, stating that he and his family enjoy the decorations and thanks Lakshmi for taking on the responsibility. The praises lavished on Lakshmi irritate Karishma and Malishka. Later, Lakshmi helps Rishi in selecting an outfit, but he criticises her choice. When Lakshmi returns to the room, Rishi confronts her and demands that she speak about her pregnancy. After an argument, Rishi refuses to let her leave and drags her away. Kiran approaches Malishka and advises her to go to Rishi’s room and make him jealous. Lakshmi tells Rishi that Gautam is nice and suitable for Aahana. They fight once more, and Rishi informs Lakshmi that she has caused him and his family problems. Lakshmi storms away, only to run into Malishka, who chastises her once more. She informs Lakshmi that everyone now believes Lakshmi is a scrooge, and she even wonders about her upbringing. Lakshmi speaks up once, telling Malishka not to make a fuss because it is Aahana’s ceremony. Aahana later seeks Lakshmi’s assistance, and Malishka avoids communicating with Rishi. Rishi is consoled by Aayush, who advises him to give Malishka some space. Later, he sees Aahana and Lakshmi together and advises Aahana to keep her distance from Lakshmi.
