Bhanwar: Is Time Travel Possible? These Urban Legends Make Us Believe In It!

Karanvir Bohra and Priya Banerjee’s ZEE5 Original series Bhanwar is a science fiction show that brings the concept of time travel to celluloid. As per the teaser, the Makhijas travel into the future with the help of a device that is present in their newly-rented apartment. In the future, they witness a murder (their own!) and now they must return to the present to save their lives! But does the device work according to their wishes? The concept of time travel has always been regarded with much enthusiasm that does not lead to any outcome, at least till now! But just like some netizens claim that the intelligence agencies of the world have contact with ET, they also have a time machine! Here are a few theories that would make you believe in the concept of time travel.

Time Travel is usually considered a made-up theory as it is impossible to travel back in time. As per mathematical equations, traveling to the past is possible but scientifically in the universe of cosmos, it is just good on paper and not in life. But when we speak about traveling into the future, it is possible if one travels faster than the speed of light (we are talking about millions of lightyears here). But just like Bhanwar has explored the theory of the wormhole (Ranvir Makhija and his wife travel through it), there are similar other techniques to make it possible.

In the recent Hollywood films, we have come across many concepts like Parallel universe, blackhole, and meta-time. Let us go through this one at a time (it is really difficult to digest!). When we talk about a parallel universe, we think of a place where we are exactly like ourselves. But the case is not so, the parallel universe does run according to the clock of our universe, but it need not be an exact replica of our universe. The Hollywood films Coherence and Sliding Doors are examples of a parallel universe. There is also a book written by two companions, Charlotte Anne Moberly and Eleanor Jourdain, this is based on their real experience of coming across Marie Antoinette and the ghosts of the past. They claim to have seen the day of past just as it was. But it was scientifically passed as a hallucination.

In the next scenario, we will talk about the black hole. The black hole was first discovered by Einstein in his theory. Now with extraordinary telescopes and technological power, we have imagery that supports Einstein’s theory. Is time to travel through blackhole possible? In the black hole, time slows down or stops. As per the scientist, Blackhole is a time machine as once it sucks inside the object stops to feel time and stops aging! In other events, the Chaplin’s time traveler video garnered a lot of attention! A woman walking with a flat thin device stuck to her ear was said to be a time traveler.
