Bharti Singh And Haarsh Limbachiyaa Getting Bail In The Drug Case Sets A Wrong Example Infront Of The Society: NCB

The Narcotics Control Bureau expressed its discomfort in front of the magistrate court on September 23 2021 that the magistrate court’s order granting bail to Bharti and her husband in a drugs case is setting a dangerous signal in society. It very evidently shows that high-profile offenders can be spared easily at the cost of divine establishment principles, without hearing the prosecution side.

This TV couple was arrested in 2020 for the raid that NCB conducted at their home in Andheri. They possessed a small quantity of marijuana and had consumed drugs. The raid also led to them having their hands on 86.50 gms of marijuana and the couple agreed to have consumed cannabis without making things difficult for both parties.

The couple was granted bail after the NCB and the public prosecutor representing the investigating agency failed to appear before the court to make submissions on the bail pleas. They had to deposit a security sum of Rs 15,000 each.

The number of drug consumption cases has been multiplying each and every day. Especially after the death of the late Shushant Singh Rajput, a lot of names were out and lots of chains were also taken under Police’s belt.

Now the NCB has said that it’s wrong to let the couple go without giving them any sort of punishment and just filling in some money as surety.
