After the covid-19 wave was easing down the government reopened the cinema halls and for yet another time the film industry was speeding up. But, again the new variant of the fatal virus omicron is on the verge to put a full stop to everything that was speeding up even the film industry. the Delhi government indicated the yellow alert and the theatres in the national capital were closed down as a precaution measure. the sad owners of the theatres have written a letter to the cm Arvind Kejriwal to request him to reconsider their decision to put a lock at the cinema halls.
Recently, Varun Dhawan took his Instagram to share the precautions and have extended their supports to the plea of the multiplex owners. The Bhediya co-stars, Varun and Kriti Sanon posted a message on their Instagram stories on behalf of the Multiplex Association of India (MAI), urging their fans to read and distribute it, as well as the government to consider it.
He also called for an “equal treatment” with other businesses and organizations. It asked the Delhi government to implement the double vaccination requirement for entering theatres, like in Maharashtra, and to limit sitting to 50% capacity.

On Workfront, Varun Dhawan’s next film is Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which will be released later this year. which also features Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor in key roles. The film is slated for a theatrical release on June 24, 2022. Kriti has a number of projects in the works, including Adipurush, Bachchan Pandey, Bhediya, Ganapath, and Heropanti 2.
