Birthday Special: Catch Namma Upendra In Rajani On His Special Day

As Upendra turns 52 this year, we cannot help but think of all the stunning performances he has given us over the years. Not only have we watched some of the best movies that he has given, but we’ve also been continuously enlightened through some of his films. On this special day, let’s celebrate Real Star Upendra’s birthday as we watch one of his best movies, Rajani.

Rajani, starring Upendra and Aarti Chabria, is a romantic comedy directed by Thriller Manju and produced by Ramu for his banner Ramu Enterprises. It is also a remake of the Telegu film Krishna.

Apart from this, the story revolves around Rajini, a happy-go-lucky man who does not like to work and is always spending time with friends. However, life turns around when he sees Sandhya (Aarti Chabria) and falls in love with her at first sight. As a result, he convinces his family to move to a new house, where Sandhya stays with her relative. Meanwhile, there’s a gang that’s searching for Sandhya. How Rajini saves Sandhya is what makes this story interesting.

Upendra as Rajani gives out an amazing performance as we see his character transitioning from someone who does not take life seriously to someone who falls in love only to realise that there is more to life. We also see his love for her when he decides to put his life at risk and protect the love of his life. What really makes this film a special one is Upendra’s initial message of how one must make the best of his time and live life to the fullest.
