Before Thirakkatha, Anoop Menon was seen playing small roles in movies like Ivar, Kattuchembakam and Rock N’ Roll.

Remember the hit song Mazhaneer Thullikal from the Malayalam movie Beautiful? Surprisingly, Anoop Menon was the lyricist of the song, while in the movie he played a lead role with actor Jayasoorya. He has also penned several songs for other movies like David and Goliyath, Beautiful, Nammukku Parkkan and several other movies.

Anoop Menon got noticed for his role as Mohanlal’s son in the movie Pakal Nakshathrangal in 2008. Surprisingly the actor was also the screenwriter for the movie.  Several years later, Anoop Menon acted alongside Mohanlal again in the movie Grandmaster.
