The journey from stand-up comedy to mini screen
Before social media popularising the art, Ramesh Pisharody was one of the first comedians in Mollywood to perform stand-up comedies. His sketches soon got him noticed by several hit comedy troupes and then paved his way to the mini screen. Ramesh was one of the youngest comedians on TV at that time of his career.
A lesser-known connection with Salim Kumar
Did you guys know that Ramesh Pisharody considers Salim Kumar as his Guru? Comedy genius and industry A-lister Salim Kumar was one of the first one to notice the talent in Ramesh Pisharody. The actor joined Salim Kumar’s hit comedy troupe, Cochin Stallions and soon became of part of their hit comedy sketches. Ramesh’s recent throwback picture with Salim Kumar had also gone viral for the same reason.
