In Jothe Jotheyali, Ramya plays the role of Divya, a married woman, whose husband Nakul (played by Lovely Star Prem) and she decides to get a divorce. Jothegara is another romantic film with elements of comedy in it. It stars Prem Kumar and Ramya as Vishwas and Priya, who are in love. While their love knows no bounds, obstacles fall in their path when Priya’s father who is an ACP, lays down some conditions for Vishwas in order to earn the hand of his lady-love. Next on the list is Julie, which also stars Bollywood actor Dino Morea alongside Ramya and Sih Kahi Chandru. The story is a romantic one with a love-triangle involved. Julie, a girl of Christian descent, falls in love with a Hindu man. However, when she gets pregnant before marriage, she decides to keep it a secret. Will her partner accept her and the unborn child? Finally, we have our favourite film of Ramya yet, Nagarahavu also starring Diganth Manchale. The movie was made as a tribute to Dr Vishnuvardhan, as the best artistes in the industry brought him back on screen through CGI.
