Bollywood News: Biopic On Late Music Composer Datta Naik Announced

Roop Naik collaborated with Yoodlee Films to commemorate the death anniversary of his father, legendary music maestro N Dutta.

Datta Naik, most prominently known as N Dutta, was a legendary music composer and director. He kick-started his career as an assistant to late music maestro SD Burman. From then on, he went on winning many hearts and created a huge fanbase for himself. N Dutta’s son Roop Naik is now collaborateng with Yoodlee Film to commemorate his father’s death anniversary. Movie critic Taran Adarsh also took to Twitter to announce the news of the biopic. Fans were thrilled when they heard the news. Take a look at it below.

On Wednesday, the makers of the film announced that the great works of Datta Naik will be brought to life with a biopic titled N Dutta: The Untold Story. As per reports, his son Roop Naik collaborated with Yoodlee Films to commemorate the legendary music composer’s death anniversary. On the other hand, movie critic Taran Adarsh also took to Twitter to announce the news of the biopic. He tweeted, “BIOPIC ON LEGENDARY MUSIC COMPOSER N DATTA… Yoodlee Films [#Saregama] announces biopic on #NDatta… Known for classics #DhoolKaPhool and #Dharamputra [directorial debut of #YashChopra]… His son Roop Naik is now collaborating with producers to fill in the gaps of the story.”. N Dutta rose to prominence for his work in the film Baalo that released in the year 1951. It was a Punjabi film and recorded his first break. Later he also worked in the film Milap that released in the year 1955. Milap was directed by Raj Khosla. The other films that featured his work were Marine Drive, Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke, Dharamputra and Dhool ka Phool. Some of his most prominent songs include Ab Who Karam Karen Ki Sitam, Tu Hindu banega na Musalman banega, Yeh Baharaon Ka Sama, Main Tumhi Se Poochhti Hoon, Pyaar ka Jahaan Ho. According to a report, Roop revealed that he didn’t want his father’s story to remain unheard. He wanted his father’s musical legacy to be acknowledged. Dutta passed away at the age of 32 after he suffered a fatal heart attack.
