Bollywood actor Bobby Deol in a recent interview opened up about his struggles in the film industry and also about his success in the present phase of life. Bobby was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2021 for Best Actor- Web Series for Aashram where he portrayed the role of Kashipur Waale Baba Nirala.

In the interview, when asked how he feels after winning the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Bobby said that it means a lot to him although he never thought about winning awards while he was shooting for the series. He said he wants his fans to just like his work and let him entertain them in future. He also said that he has decided that he will dedicate and immerse himself completely in his work now and will continue to work hard in future.
Bobby was asked which phase of his career he thinks impacted him the most and he said the time when he was sitting at home jobless was the time when he learnt a lot. He says he had seen his father work for the industry thus he knew that the stardom comes and goes. The choices of films and his attitude towards work must have been wrong which is why he faced failure.
Bobby said the tuning point in his career was when he used to sit at home all day without a job and his children use to wonder why their father was always at home. He advises all aspiring actors to never give up. He said the film industry isn’t easy but one has to believe in their potential and have faith.
Bobby expressed his gratitude for the write opportunities at the right time and said that he is now doing movies which are out of his comfort zone. In 2020, Bobby was part of series like Class of 83 and Aashram. His upcoming movies are Love Hostel and Apne 2.
