Popular actor Kareena Kapoor Khan and husband Saif Ali Khan have been doting parents to their beautiful little son Taimur Ali Khan for a while now. And only recently, the couple welcomed their second child into the world. In an interesting conversation from a while ago, the actor had opened up about several questions that many people had for her about their second child. Discussing her thoughts in detail, she had revealed her stance on the worldwide issue of gender inequality.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has constantly proven to be one of the most widely celebrated and loved leading ladies of all time in the Indian film industry. In an older interview, when she was asked about her take on the massive issue of gender bias and inequality, the actor spoke about her thoughts on it in detail. Being a girl child herself, Kareena revealed that she believes she has probably done more for her parents than a son would ever have. In the throwback video, she was seen adding that even she would love to have a daughter someday.

Kareena also addressed the stereotypical questions that she has always found being thrown her way about various things regarding her life and gender. From being asked if a woman would continue to work after getting married or after giving birth to her kids, the actor said that India is still a nation where such biased and discriminative mindsets exist. She also admitted that such questions deeply upset her.

Kareena said that as an expecting mother herself, she was more than happy to be a part of a movement that supports gender equality, not only for her child or herself but for the countless other kids who endure sufferings due to such biases. To it, she further added that her support also originated from the desire to prove to people that being or having a girl child was no less than having a son. The actor proudly stated that a woman is the only soul that is capable of carrying and bringing any other soul into the world.
