Bollywood Throwback: Amitabh Bachchan Reminisces Shatrughan Sinha’s Unpunctuality From Their Younger Days

After working with each other for numerous years, most Bollywood actors develop close bonds with their co-stars. Actors Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan share a similar relationship with each other as well. After knowing Shatrughan Sinha for many years, Amitabh Bachchan had once revealed how the former had a bad habit of being late to most things back in the day, even work!

Speaking to a vast audience during a press conference, actor Amitabh Bachchan had spoken about a bad habit of Shatrughan Sinha once. He merrily recollected how Shatrughan Sinha was always late to work and other plans, right from their younger days. While speaking of it, Bachchan also emphasised that people are often born with certain habits, which they should not really try to change during the course of their life, referring to Sinha.

Bachchan recalled how everyone used to gather at Sinha’s residency in Colaba, Mumbai, back in the day. Even in those days, Shatrughan Sinha was never on time, Bachchan revealed. Bachchan revealed more instances where Sinha was late, like gatherings, flights, movie plans and more. If the tickets to a film were booked for 6 pm, Sinha would not reach till at least 6:30 pm, according to Amitabh Bachchan. Sinha was also very late for his flights. While authorities felt concerned about him missing his flights and reminded him of the timings, he always appeared carefree about it.

Speaking of their work from back then, Bachchan spoke of a specific instance to further explain Sinha’s unpunctuality. While they had to leave from the same shoot to go to another one, Bachchan revealed how he would always reach on time but Shatrughan Sinha would make it there hours later. Bachchan playfully stated that he always wondered what took Sinha so long to reach the same place as him after leaving from the same shoot at the same time.
