Bollywood Trivia: Did You Know Mira Rajput Kapoor Was A Topper In Her Board Exams?

Married to the popular Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is Mira Rajput who had a very simple life prior to becoming the star’s wife. Now, a popular face and a celebrity herself, Mira led a very normal and common life before coming into the limelight and becoming Shahid’s wife. Surprisingly, she was an overachiever in her schooling days and topped her board examinations in the 12th grade as well.

Mira Rajput Kapoor has been in the limelight for quite a few years but there is a lot more to her, other than being Shahid’s wife and a doting mother of 2 adorable kids, that many still do not know about. In an interview with Mira, the host revealed that as a child in school, the former was a very brilliant student who aced all her subjects and examinations. To top that off, she further added that Mira was also a topper in her board examinations wherein she scored a mind-blowing 95%.

The host then proceeded to ask her to reveal a little more about herself and what her life looked like before she got hitched to Shahid and the world got to know her. To this, Mira answered saying that she came from just another normal family who lived in Delhi and that she had 2 elder sisters, making it a family of 3 daughters. The humble lady added that the main driving force behind all 3 sisters was the way they were raised by their parents. She said her father made them feel empowered and capable enough to conquer the world. She made it clear that they were not raised ‘like sons’ but simply as strong ‘daughters.’

Mira explained that having a daughter of her own now, she hopes to be able to give her the upbringing that her parents gave her when she was growing up. Upon becoming a mother herself, she realised how much more love and appreciation her mother deserved from her. Seeing the amount of love and the depth of the bond that a mother and daughter share, she wished she had been more loving towards her mother too.
